Terms of Service

By using Passport Room you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose, because the service is free, uses consent-based visitor identification, is supported by ads, and does not upload photos opened in the editor.

1. The service

Passport Room provides browser-based tools for producing passport, visa and ID photographs. The tools are free and can be used without registration. We may change, add or withdraw features, and we may take the site offline for maintenance or permanently, without notice and without liability.

2. Visitor identity and reviews

Registration is not required. If you accept cookies, Google Firebase Anonymous Authentication creates a persistent user ID to recognise this browser on return visits. Your profile displays that ID and a random name. This is pseudonymous tracking, not a promise of complete anonymity. Local visit counts and dates remain in your browser. Rejecting cookies or withdrawing consent disables visitor authentication without preventing use of the free photo tools. Details and deletion requests are explained in our Privacy Policy.

Community reviews you submit may be shown publicly with a customer label. Do not post private information or unlawful content. We may remove abusive reviews or restrict misuse.

3. You keep ownership of your images

You retain all rights in every photo you open, edit or export with Passport Room. We do not claim ownership of your images; photos opened in the editor are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. Anything you create with the tool is yours to use, including for commercial purposes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Passport Room to:

• edit a photograph of another person without that person's consent, or a photograph you have no right to use;
• produce, alter or assist in producing a forged, fraudulent or misleading identity document, or a photo intended to misrepresent who you are;
• create content that is unlawful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• attack, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer for circumvention, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the site.

Enhancement features must not be used to change your appearance to the point that the photo no longer honestly represents you. Most authorities reject retouched ID photos, and submitting one can carry legal consequences that are yours alone.

5. No guarantee of acceptance

Passport Room formats photos to published dimension, resolution and head-height specifications, but acceptance of any photograph is decided solely by the passport office, embassy, consulate, licensing authority or other body you submit it to. Those bodies also assess lighting, expression, eyewear, head coverings, background uniformity, print quality and how recently the photo was taken, and they update their rules independently of us. We make no warranty that a photo produced here will be accepted, and we are not liable for rejected applications, delays, reprints, appointment fees, travel costs or any other loss arising from a rejection. Always check the current official guidance for your country before you apply.

6. Not official or affiliated

Passport Room is an independent tool. It is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with any government, passport agency, embassy or visa service. Country names and photo standards are referenced only to describe the size presets the software offers.

7. Provided "as is"

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. AI models can make mistakes: a cut-out edge can be imperfect, a face enhance can produce an unnatural result, and a crop can need manual correction. Review every export before you use it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us, which is zero because the service is free.

8. Free forever

Passport Room is free to use, with unlimited photos and no payments or subscriptions. Accounts are optional. The service is funded by advertising.

9. Your responsibility for local storage

If you enable photo history, images are saved in your own browser. Protecting that device, and clearing that data on shared or public computers, is your responsibility.

10. Third-party resources

The app downloads AI model files and libraries from third-party hosts; consent-based visitor identity uses Google Firebase Anonymous Authentication. Details are in our privacy policy. These providers operate under their own terms and their availability is outside our control.

11. Advertising and cookies

The site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, including personalised ads if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to. How cookies and data are used is explained in our privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms; the revised version takes effect when posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are a contract between you and Passport Room (legal name: Passport Room), operating from Jamalpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. They are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and nothing in them removes any statutory consumer right you have in your own country.
