Yes! Passport Room formats photos according to official government dimensions (e.g.,
Bangladesh 45×55mm, US 2×2", Schengen 35×45mm), requiring neutral backgrounds and
60-70% face height ratios.
Is my uploaded photo sent to a server?
No! All background segmentation, face detection, and passport canvas rendering
happen 100% locally in your web browser using WebGPU / WebAssembly. Your photo never
leaves your device.
Can I print these photos on home printers or at photo shops?
Absolutely. Use the "Download Print Sheet" or "A4 Print Sheet Editor" to generate a
300 DPI print sheet tiled with 4, 8, 12, or 20 photo copies on standard A4 or 4×6
photo paper.
What expression and posture should I use in my photo?
Look directly into the camera with a neutral facial expression (mouth closed), eyes
open and clearly visible. Avoid shadows on your face or background.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Passport Room ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the service.
2. Description of Service
Passport Room provides browser-based, client-side automated passport and visa photo cropping, background removal, formal dress try-on, and print layout generation tools. All core rendering operates directly on your local web browser.
3. Local Privacy & Data Ownership
You retain full intellectual property rights to all images you upload and process. Passport Room does not upload or store photos opened in the editor on its servers. All image processing occurs strictly within your device's browser memory.
4. Optional Accounts
The free tools do not require registration. With cookie consent, Firebase Anonymous Authentication assigns a persistent visitor ID, shown in your profile, to recognise return visits. Photos are unlimited and no payments are taken. See the full Terms of Service.
5. Government Compliance Disclaimer
While Passport Room implements strict millimeter dimensions and face height ratios recommended by passport authorities (including Bangladesh, United States, UK, and Schengen countries), local embassy and immigration agencies maintain sole discretion over final document approval. Users are encouraged to ensure their input photos meet lighting, expression, and posture requirements.

1. Privacy-First Commitment
Photos opened in Passport Room are not uploaded to our servers. Your images are processed 100% locally on your computer or mobile device using WebGPU and WebAssembly machine learning models.
2. Local Storage & Cookies
Browser storage remembers your preferences and optional saved photo history. If you accept cookies, Firebase Anonymous Authentication stores a visitor session to recognise this browser. A random display name, visit count and dates stay in your browser; Firebase receives authentication requests and holds the visitor account. Google AdSense may use advertising cookies. Rejecting cookies turns this visitor tracking off. Google's privacy policy applies to requests to Google.
3. Your Data Rights
Photos opened in the editor are not uploaded to our servers. Account information, visitor identifiers and submitted reviews may be processed by our providers. A visitor ID is pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity; we do not publish your authentication session.
